Cape Verde is known to many for its luxurious hotels, white sandy beaches and a beautiful, clear sea full of fantastically colored fish. Unfortunately, it also has another, perhaps less well-known, side. Due to a structural lack of money and resources, disabled people in Cape Verde live in social isolation and are severely limited in their (social) development.
KH Chemicals would like to help and improve the living conditions of these people. For that reason it has made every effort to collect aids such as wheelchairs, walkers and rollators. In fact, anything that could improve the mobility of these people was very welcome.
Together with a couple of (logistical) partners, KH Chemicals built a logistics network that arranged the transport of all the items. A fantastic initiative that once again emphasizes the slogan “It’s all about people”. As far as we are concerned, these partners deserve a very big compliment, our special thanks go to:
